Roberta Rook, MA, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (Maryland)

Roberta has been a counselor, in some form or fashion, for a long time—she received her M.A. in Counseling in 1989 and completed all post-graduate work for licensure by 2001, just a couple of years after the state of Maryland approved licensure for counselors. However, it is only in the last 9 years that she has been doing the type of counseling she feels is a large part of her life’s work—this is the time she has spent doing bereavement/life transition counseling. Through her work in this field, she discovered SoulCollage®, and she believes SoulCollage® is in turn leading her down yet another avenue of work aligned with her life’s purpose. And, in a sense, working with SoulCollage® brings her full circle—back to the little girl who loved art, who lost and found herself in that very powerful form of self-expression.

In the SoulCollage® work Roberta has done with hospice colleagues, the bereaved, and others exploring the odyssey of life, she has found the SoulCollage® process to be a revelation. These cards are truly “small yet mighty”, taking on what seems to be a life of their own, a true Essence, as they become the containers for the aspirations, challenges, and spiritual substance of their creators. SoulCollage® cards can facilitate dialogue, enrich communication and reveal those themes and which connect all of us and which connect us to the All. Roberta is eternally grateful that SoulCollage® found her, and that she has been able to bring SoulCollage® to others. She looks forward to bringing SoulCollage® to you!

The SoulCollage® Registered Trademark

The word "SoulCollage®" has been trademarked in order to differentiate this process from other collage processes and to provide the training and professional community support that will help sustain the quality and ethics of SoulCollage® work in groups. We ask that people use the phrases “SoulCollage®® facilitator” or “SoulCollage® Group” only if they have been trained by Seena Frost, author of SoulCollage®® or a facilitator trainer approved by SoulCollage® LLC.

Others may say in their advertising that they will be working in the group "using the process of SoulCollage® as described in Seena B. Frost's book, SoulCollage® . Although this may seem a small distinction, it is important to use the trademark in certain ways that will gradually become recognizable to people as the work spreads. Please also see the SoulCollage® website for additional important guidelines for how to use this work.
